Interior Doors
Ellcon custom designs and manufactures all types of Interior Doors which include Interior cab doors, Toilet doors and Vestibule doors. Typical contstuction consists of stainless steel skin with resistance welded channels and an aluminum honeycomb bonded core.
As mentioned all Ellcon doors are based on custom design and manufactured on site. All tooling is produced on site as well. This gives many options in door design and final construction. Aside from the typical design Ellcon can supply doors made of all aluminum construction with a flat or curved contour, hinged or sliding.
Ellcon provides fully assembled doors with all the hardware, window glazing (see Transit windows) and seals or simple bare door construction.
Ellcon doors are constructed to meet all FRA and TA requirements.
